Biography
A graduate of Engineering Chemistry from Queens University, Dena worked briefly as a process engineer for Procter and Gamble Specialties, Belleville. She was a Research Assistant at Queens for 3 years. Home with 4 children for 13 years. Chaired the Parent Advisory Committees at Holy Family and St. Patrick's Schools. She organized community softball in Hunt Club Riverside Park for several years. From 1997-2005, Dena was the Executive Coordinator of Earth Day Ottawa. She was a Presenter for Scientists in School from 2005-2015. Currently volunteering at Therapeutic Riding of Ottawa and the bookkeeper for her physician spouse. Dena is an avid dinghy sailor.
